Morton Golf operates four golf courses in the Sacramento region – Haggin Oaks, Bing Maloney, Bartley Cavanaugh and William Land Golf Courses and is excited to announce key position changes.
Tyler Brown was a Golf Professional at Haggin Oaks and has been serving the golf industry in Northern California for over 14 years. During his time at Haggin Oaks, he focused on coaching and fitting customers. Tyler will assume the role of General Manager at William Land Golf Course. Tyler, a PGA Member, has a strong background in golf operations, having been the Head Golf Professional at Granite Bay CC and Saddle Creek Golf Club, to name just a few. He is excited to take on this new challenge and looks forward to growing rounds of golf and participation at Sacramento’s oldest golf course! Stop by the William Land Golf Course and say hello the next time you are in the area.
Joe Storbakken has been the Lead Coach for Youth and Adaptive Golf at Haggin Oaks and will assume the role of PGA Director of Player Development for Bing Maloney and William Land Golf Courses. Joe is a recent Professional Golf Management graduate at Methodist University and is a PGA Member. Joe’s new role will mainly include leading and coaching youth, adaptive and adult programming at both Bing Maloney and William Land Golf Courses. Both of these facilities have a rich history in developing players, both youth and adults in the Sacramento community. We are excited to have Joe further this history and to continue to grow programs in the South Sacramento area.
