Christopher Vogel found a love for the game of golf early in life, when his golf crazy grandfather thrust a club into his hands as soon as he could walk. Growing up on the San Francisco Peninsula, Christopher played competitively throughout his junior years, high school, and into college.
Christopher’s passion for golf was reignited in rainy Seattle, Washington of all places. This new found resurgence was expedited by the pandemic, where passion soon evolved to obsession. He is passionate about helping students new to the game learn to manage their mental game around the golf course and teaching critical short game skills to score effectively. His philosophy for teaching and playing the game has been greatly shaped by the writings of legendary instructors such as Harvey Penick and Dr. Bob Rotella.
Christopher joined the William Land Golf Course staff in 2023 and is the assistant professional. He is currently pursuing his Class A Professional certification through the PGA Associate Program. He is available for private lessons and group clinics.
